DEI casting everywhere. Virtually no straight white males to be found. As far as I can remember every single onscreen couple except the first
one is mixed race. At least one gay character that I can remember. Nasty unlikable female head of the company is a terrible actor.
This has every woke buzzword thrown out there you can imagine. Half of this movie is a bad cliché rom com and then they try to shoehorn
in an even more cliché slasher and then dipped the entire thing into the woke toilet for good measure. The dialogue is so bad the entire script feels
like it was written by a woke social media addicted Gen Z who thinks they are so clever. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if this was written
at least partially by A.I. The music is out of place and there is an actual
dress up romcom montage. Then there is the lazy incompetent writing. Why are there loud thundering footsteps when the killer walks like he
weighs 500lbs and is stomp walking, except of course when the script requires him to suddenly appear next to someone then he's a stealthy
ninja. Why is the police station in a major city virtually completely empty of staff. Why when the lights suddenly go out in the station is
there no emergency lighting, and why do the lights then suddenly start flickering on and off for no reason other than needed atmosphere.
It is established this serial killer has been active around the country for several years. The FBI would be in charge of the case and would
be there to take over not local detectives.

The killers reveal makes absolutely no sense. Look at the height and build of the killer throughout the movie vs what the killers builds
actually look like, it's not even close. That's not clever that's just bad writing and filmmaking. Also the police IT guy and the detective are what just transferring jobs multiple times at random
all over the country to carry out the murders? The only reason this gets 1 star instead of 0 is for some halfway decent FX. There really is
no reason to watch the garbage.

Nothing woke. This is an average sort of rom com revenge comedy mix. There are some funny moments but there are also some very eye rolling
cringe ones as well. Don't expect any dirty raunchy humor as its only PG so very light hearted pretty clean jokes. Betty white manages
to steal every scene she's in and has some of the funnier jokes in the movie. Overall not bad and maybe worth a one time watch.

Nothing woke. This will definitely not be something that appeals to everyone but I enjoyed it. This is a straight up comedy more so than
a any kind of serious heist movie. Every character is incompetent and it's pretty implausible though I suppose it's never really so ridiculous as to be impossible. The acting and humor for me was great. Though it did deal with local Boston politics and corruption I don't recall there being any mention of specific political affiliation, if so I missed it. If you want a fast paced comedy, heist, caper movie that's just trying to entertain rather than tell a deep thinking story this may do if for you.

Nothing woke. It's basically a Men In Black clone. The acting is decent and the VFX are passable if nothing special. It's a little corny sometimes but it's entertaining enough sci-fi comedy.

Another Woke Unnecessary Soulless Remake

A LOT of DEI casting. They basically combined Hunt's and Paxton's character into one female lead and deleted the male character and replaced him with an annoying YouTube douche streamer. A lesbian actor in what is clearly a lesbian character.
The finale has the actress going off recklessly completely on her own to rescue everyone because she has to be a strong independent female
character who don't need no man. So many problems with this unnecessary remake. The VFX for the tornadoes looks no better and in some cases worse then the original from 1996. Another entire movie full of unlikable characters. Bad writing again shows up here. Why in the hell do the characters insist on saying the lead females name every 20-30 seconds. It's so irritating and and ridiculous you could make a drinking game out of it and never be able to finish the movie. The tornado scenes somehow have no excitement to them, they just seem bland and boring and never seems like your in a tornado. The vehicles
never move they just sit there in contrast with the original where they are constantly getting beat up by the storms. Windows smash, trucks twist and turn, dents and smashes all over the vehicles, here none of that. Also I'm expected to believe those pathetic little augers that look like they are about 16-18" are going to hold a truck stable in the dirt in a tornado? Sure. I won't even comment on the end where those same augers easily bore through black top road with
no problem. What the hell is with the nasty dirty meth head looking actress? Then there's a whole town in tornado alley who all just fun around like idiots when the sirens go off like they wouldn't know where the shelters are and where to go. There's more but you get the idea, combine the bad writing with the over the top woke DEI elements and your better off watching the original again. It's dated but still holds up better than this thing.

Nothing woke. Excellent homage to 80's alien sci/fi. The time period is well done, the acting and dialog are good, the writing is good.
Is it original? No. Is is anything you haven't seen before? Probably not. But it is well done and entertaining without any of the woke
political preachy bs.

Nothing woke but I did exit out at the 45 minute mark. The acting is fine and the cinematography and time period is well done. The main problem here is that it plays out more like a docudrama than an actual movie. There isn't really any plot or main storyline to follow and for some reason they decided to tell most of it from the point of view of one of the club members wives. That is the big problem is the character of Kathy the narrator. This might be one of the all time most annoying brain bleed inducing voices ever, and you will here it A LOT!
The movie isn't so much bad as it is just so pointless, meandering and dull. Like a wannabe Scorsese on valium.

I didn't notice anything overly woke other than the ships first mate in real life was male and was gender swapped in the movie to female for
no reason other than DEI. The acting is mostly good and as far as I was able to tell the story seemed to be very accurate to the true events.
None of the usual overblown Hollywood 'lets make it better and add a bunch of things that never happened' nonsense.
It's a good story and an entertaining watch.

Nothing woke. This is a terrible movie. The acting is truly awful but the beginning with the 'Cherry" actress is really a new low in acting.
She is so bad it's actually painful to watch. It's standard slasher movie cliches with nothing new. The killer is a generic slasher monster as
is the the story. Even the kills are boring and not worth watching it for. No scares, no gore just boredom.

Black shaved head female head of assassins. Way to much DEI non white characters for 83% white UK. These movies have been done many time before by now. The aging hitman who doesn't want to retire. There is nothing new here but it's not particularly bad either. The acting is ok and the writing and action scenes are average. Waltz while a good actor is a bit miscast in the role but it's not terrible other than the ridiculous
idea that a 70 year old can repeatedly go to a club and take multiple 20 something women home all the time. Still you could do worse than this movie.
