It's like they're saying, "You guys already know the story, so here's a SUMMARIZED live-action with many changes."

After reading the manhua (until vol. 10) and watching the 1st season of anime, there are LOTS OF CUTS, TONS OF CHANGES, extra scenes not in the original, and scenes combined in the movie. For example:
1. The 1st scene where Dao ma was beating the "goons" and going to the area where corpses were hanging on top are combined, but in the original material these are 2 different scenes.
2. The Tokharian mercenaries are almost always masked and terrifying; it's kind of their signature. But here the leader of the mercenaries just shows up unmasked and stays unmasked in battle, which just feels numb. And almost got beaten by Dao Ma and Shu! THEY DIDN'T EVEN FOUGHT IN THE ORIGINAL.
3. There are always strong female soldiers with Chief Mo in the original. But in the movie, even though there are some female soldiers, most of the time there's a black man named Malih as his bodyguard, which I've never seen in the original.
4. The whore Yan Ziniang never showed any interest towards women in the original. But in the movie she suggested "serving" both Dao Ma and Ayuya.
5. "Shu—The Jade Faced Ghost" is usually less talkative and more serious and doesn't deliberately make a plan to start fighting with Dao Ma after they joined the stagecoach in the original. But here he's just somewhat talkative and almost non-serious/smiling from the beginning. And makes a plan to kill/arrest Dao Ma suddenly and gets awfully humiliated.
6. In the original, Chief Mo directly told his people face-to-face to leave the land to save themselves and their own families. Some refused to go on their own and decided to stay & fight alongside to protect the land out of loyalty. This was a sad+brave moment in the original. But in the movie, there's like literally no emotions. Chief Mo ordered Malih to tell the people to leave, especially the women & children; those who wish to stay may stay. That's it.

And the list can GO ON AND ON AND ON...

I mean, I get it; it's a movie with limited runtime, and you can't fit all the chapters of manhwa, but it feels so weird and frustrating. The tension & the thriller of the original scenes are basically all absent. They spent too much on action sequences (some are very nonsensical) instead of the story.
I don't even understand the reason to make this movie. There's already an ongoing anime adaptation. which shows more respect to the original source material even with some cuts.

A Korean post apocalypse series where everything is a desert and highly trained delivery men go out to bring food and oxygen to people.
The Cg is sometimes passable and other times looks terrible but the acting is decent. The writing at the start already has issues though. There is a lack of clean oxygen and has to be delivered to people but everyone is wearing filter type masks that provide no oxygen? They say that the oxygen is full of pollutants and has to purified so then why not just have purifiers installed in living areas if simple basic masks work. Then the oxygen the deliver to people is in very small bottles that would seemingly last only a few hours, but the residents only place orders once they get down to 20 percent. Makes no sense. Action and fight scenes also are not particularly well done. Fights consist of 1 person fighting a group of people who stand around waiting for their turn to fight one at a time. Trained bad guys who can't hit people right in front of them with fully auto weapons while the good refugee manages to take them all out with a handgun. There is the usual badass female character who is physically manhandling and throwing around male characters. The entire theme of the show is generic dystopian cliché. Evil corporation and class system with greedy bad rich people and good noble lower class refugee's. The good president is female and the head of the evil corporation is male. There's only 1 season and the first episode was enough to know I wasn't interested in going any further.

PURE BLOODY RAGE & a little bit of sadness.

THOUSAND TIMES better than those NATIONALIST-SLOP action movies.

Predictable, but enjoyable.

A troubled teen loves music, but is awkward and bullied at school. He discovers that the loud, new tenant in his building is an assumed dead rock star on the run for tax evasion. A little blackmail may get him some guitar lessons. Two damaged souls find what they need in each other.

The story is predictable, but the music is good.

I had to keep pausing to see if the guitar is really a pre-Norlin Les Paul. I think it was. That's a $25k minimum instrument.

Group of 3 couple has all proper DEI boxes checked, Indian female and white male, white and Spanish mixed race gay couple so they get 2 boxes checked with that one and the lone white couple. The gay couple is incredibly annoying and obnoxious. Yet again appears to be a thinly veiled excuse to preach about 'toxic masculinity, rape culture' and feminist consent nonsense. Like everything now this is yet another unoriginal rehash that's been done before and much better. Basically Stepford wives with a side of A.I. The acting is terrible and the writing makes no sense. There is virtually no worldbuilding or attempts to explain anything. Every single person here is a complete idiot and does the dumbest things imaginable.

Creative space movie.

From a space-type movie you would naturally think the "space parts" (ships moving, walking/running inside and outside the ship, etc.) were gonna be slow, but in this movie they're very fast. I guess it's creative in a good way.
Ryan gosling is just too much in joy here, instead of being serious or tense at some moments, especially at the beginning scenes.
Using the gay harry style's song in around 1 hour and 30 minutes was not expected😑 . The onlyfans supporting feminist actress (I think her name is Milana Vayntrub) is just painful to look at; it's a good thing she was only there for a very short time. And a typical woman in a superior position, at least she wasn't there in a painful way.
Some gender-neutral language here and there😒.

Decent horror movie.

Yes, there were some plot holes. I think it's a good thing they didn't exactly tell the origin of the "witch." Keeps you guessing.
UAE-Irish co-production film. No wonder I didn't see any gay shites.
But overall, a decent horror movie to watch alone at night.

Fun movie, no woke

Movie was funny and some over the top action scenes. Best part was zero woke.

Based on a book that is utter anti American, anti male, woke feminist garbage so I didn't expect much out of this. There is some of the woke holdovers from the book like the lead black smart female that all the white males are after and the uneducated white trash criminal lead male. There is still some writing issues that were present in the book as well and while the woke aspects are toned way down they aren't completely gone like some DEI characters and there is still some feminism present. The acting is ok, the CG is pretty poor but overall it's still a watchable horror/sci-fi/comedy that's miles better than the trash book it's based on but still just a bit above average.

Kind of decent horror (if you watch at night in dark room).

Extended the story of the main character for "cinemtaic purposes" or something like that, like therapy sessions (don't remember that being in the game) and others. Which almost feels unnecessary compared to the game.
Anyway, around 24 minutes in the film, she showed her phone with ONLY 1% CHARGE WITH WI-FI ON, AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN THOUGHT OF CHARGING UP THE PHONE BEFORE STARTING ALL THIS!
Some weird "scary soundtrack" placements and not good convincing acting at some points.
They made it way too short. LOTS OF STUFF from the game didn't even make it into the movie.
Almost like they made a different ending just so they can make a sequel.

Romance/sex before marriage, women wearing the most revealing dress possible while the men wear full dress, a nose ring on Sarah's nose, & Sarah smoking were pretty disgusting. Well, it's a western movie.
Otherwise, a good horror movie AFTER A LONG TIME.
