Watchable. Nothing special
No woke. Clean. Entertaining.
Aside from being predictable, the only negative would be the issue a young child drawing violent sketches shortly after her mother died. That's kind of a heavy issue. I'm no child psychologist, but I don't think the best approach was to encourage it.
The humor was clever. The acting was surprisingly good. The CGI was exceptional.

A rom-com for the woke brain rot crowd. Story wise it's a cliché with nothing original though the acting isn't really that bad surprisingly. However the humor just isn't there. It's all eye rolling and not funny in the least. Then there is the woke garbage. The usual mixed race couple where the wife yells at the husband to stop mansplaining then smile smugly and says 'he does whatever I say'. The biggest issue however is the lead male is an annoying pathetic hipster beta douche loser who eats healthy knows nothing about sports hates confrontations and loves to exercise while the lead female is the aggressive alpha type who eats
greasy garbage hates exercise is confrontational and loves football depicting the woke gender role reversal. At one point she talks down to him and basically tells him he's an idiot and naïve to his face. She screws up and tips a guy with a $5k voucher because she thinks it's a $50 dollar one then later when she finds out she yells at him like it's his fault and says he's a thief. This is another of those movies with not one single likable character to be found anywhere. I hated everybody in this and after about 30 minutes I was done with this garbage.

Outlandish story that really happened.
The movie had the feel of trying to take a completely implausible story and make it seem possible. Except, this one is true. Yes, a 59 year old linebacker did play in Division III NCAA Football. Yes, he did compete (and win) a weightlifting contest against his 35-year junior teammates. He didn't get much playing time, but he did suit up and take the field in real games.
The acting and directing are good. There's nothing spectacular, it's just a feel-good movie based on true events.

Rom-com or Chik-flik. Funny and clever.
Zero woke.
Decent humor. Good acting and directing. It's a good "movie night with the wife." kind of flick. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Kim Coates (Tig - Sons of Anarchy) was a pleasant surprise.

Pro black movie, so it's what you'd expect. Has a scene with the fake black woman "FORWARD" poster on the wall

A fresh take on slice of life animes
I haven't watched something this interesting have a decade i believe, what made me turn my attention to it was the moral relativism of woke people in the internet when it comes to demons portrayed in that anime, so i watched the first episode and instantly got hooked to it.
the pacing of the story is neither slow nor fast, it just hits right in that spot, and it's interesting, this anime tries to tell that every moment in your life matters, and that you should be ready to enjoy good things in it when it happens, Frieren realizes this a little too late, so this anime shows her trying to understand relationships again.
I am watching season 2 right now and have found absolute zero woke elements, it's safe to watch, not only that but the writers and animators of this anime gave the middle finger to people trying to apply moral relativism to the demons, so i don't expect the quality to fall anytime soon.

Propaganda for anti-2A
It's been a few years since I've seen this. I'm going by memory. It was a very entertaining movie with great acting and directing. It also promotes blaming gun rights and gun manufacturers instead of the criminals who perpetrate the crimes. In short, it's left-wing propaganda. The basic premise is that the ends justify the means when it comes to tampering with a jury for the noble cause of holding gun manufacturers responsible for what criminals do.

Diversity saves the day
A lot of DEI and unrealistic outcomes in which a butch is better than most men.

Modern trad-con bastardisation
First, I find the Princess-bride narrative device of Dickens telling a story to his kids actively obnoxious. It's overdone, it disrupts the flow of the story, and the boy and cat are simply insufferable.
Speaking of, the wife is the epitome of the modern trad-con wet dream: the behind-each-great-man cliche, power-behind-the throne type, all authority with no discernible responsibility.
Feminism with a demure coat of paint.
Dickens is pictured as a bumbling idiot saved by his wife, a victim of bullying by his whole family, cat included. Actually disgraceful. And disgusting.
Facts: Dickens had a litter of kids, a superior intellect, did write a children's book about Jesus, was a pretty hard man by today's standards, and so was his (first) wife (he never remarried really, such were the times).
Also, anachronisms. From the get-go: a story of 2000 years ago. Right. Dickens was mid 19th century, people still knew how to count then.
The scriptural part of the movie lacks accuracy. Playing fast and loose with Dickens' life is one thing, but with the Good Book is less forgivable. My kids kept interrupting with "That's not how it goes in the Bible".
Historical accuracy, well, decided to sleep in that day. Lazy, shody research.
At least the minimalist rendering of the Cena, the Last Supper, was a welcome departure from the usual Da Vinci-esque extravaganza.
I wanted to like this one. But it's a lot of work.
I understand the will to appeal to the younger ones, but show them Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth instead, and explain that which needs explaining.

Jackie is back at 70??
It's a very enjoyable movie overall. Great action scenes and fighting which you'd expect from Jackie Chan. Very elaborate story with the stakes growing bigger and BIGGER every 15 minutes but it was fun and great to see Jackie in action along with a very large and talented supporting cast of fighters. Nothing woke other than the occasional 90 lbs girl taking on 2 or 3 guys twice her size and weight, which is just standard in today's movies unfortunately. If you can get past that, I'd highly recommend this one if you haven't seen a good Jackie Chan movie in years, THIS IS IT!!

Started off good, ruined by the usual shit.
Good to start, the main character and his friend are good. Interesting characters.
But the 'villain' is some little asian woman who at the start easily kills 3 bandits who kidnap her (I suspected what was coming, but tried to give it more of a chance) and ends up with more nonsense of her continually easily beating up men.
They always ruin it with this dumb shit, turned off at the 2nd episode.

Excellent bizarre humor
It’s a cartoon packed with all kinds of characters exploding with colors and completely nonsensical shapes… and somehow it’s not woke. That’s it. That’s the whole thing.
It’s just exaggerated bizarre humor, one meme after another, trying to squeeze a laugh out of you in every possible way, mostly by making the characters interact in the most awkward and uncomfortable ways imaginable.
Highly recommended if you enjoy a good dose of absurd, exaggerated humor.
⚠ Not for children.
Enjoy!
